Equitarian Initiative is an organization that prepares volunteers and veterinarians to deliver health care to working equids (horses, donkeys and mules) and education to their owners and care providers, to improve their welfare and that of their families. EI harnesses the passion and expertise of veterinarians, training them to work synergistically with other international non-profit organizations, veterinary colleges, and colleagues, worldwide.
