Mission
Since Lakeside Animal Clinic opened back in 1977, our vet clinic has been providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to our patients. Dr. Michael McCann built the clinic and started practicing at the current location in June of 1977. In those days, Westheimer was nothing but a small, two-lane farm-to-market road. Over the years, he built up a large and loyal clientele of west Houston pet owners. As the area became more populated, the practice began growing as well, eventually reaching the point it is today, with over 5900 active clients and over 50 new clients per month. In September 2007, Dr. McCann retired, and the clinic was purchased by Dr. Randy Wiltshire. Dr. Wiltshire is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, and he worked for five years on the north side of Houston after graduation. Dr. Wiltshire is excited about continuing Dr. McCann's legacy of outstanding service.
