History
In 1985, Dr. Thomas Benson and Dr. Charles Saxe, owners of Town & Country Animal Clinic, merged with Dr. John M. Brasher, owner of Memorial Animal Clinic. The plans were developed to build a progressive clinic to incorporate the beauty of the area with a facility that could accommodate the changing needs in the veterinary medical field. With the ever growing needs of our clients and patients in mind, Memorial Town & Country Animal Clinic was born.
The building process itself took approximately 9 months. Drs. Benson, Saxe, & Brasher had constant input to be sure they would have a facility that would meet the needs of the families in the area they knew, as well as the families that would come to them in the future.
In December of 1985, Memorial Town & Country Animal Clinic was completed. Although hidden in a nest of trees behind a shopping center, friends and neighbors passed the word about the new animal clinic being run by three established veterinarians already known by so many. The business of continuing care for your pets was up and running in a beautiful new facility.
In these past years, many changes and improvements have been made. With these changes have come additions to, as well as losses of, many beloved family pets. It is so rewarding to continue to see generations of families in the area that trust our commitment to veterinary care for their loved ones.
