History
Shawsheen Animal Hospital was founded in April 2001 by long-time friends Dr. Michele Caruso and Dr. Shawn LeBlanc. In 2007, our practice earned accreditation with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) to demonstrate our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine and to the well-being of pets.
We have also taken steps to make our hospital the absolute best it can be for both pets and people. We've been proudly accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 2007, which means we meet the highest standards in veterinary medicine. We're also a certified Cat-Friendly Practice with the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and utilize Fear Free techniques, so vet visits are as easy as possible on both you and your pet.
