We consider our clients to be friends as well as customers, and we are committed to serving their pets with the same kind of genuine concern, quality care, and gentleness that we would our own pets. The high level of communication we maintain between our clients and the direct, personal contact they have with their pets' doctor whenever they need consultation sets us apart from other veterinary hospitals. Our clients find that we value their trust and goodwill, and that we are determined to partner with them to provide excellent veterinary care.

History
When Capeway Veterinary Hospital began in 1951, it was a one-doctor practice. Dr. Sherman and Dr. Gaudet purchased the practice in 1983 when the clinic also serviced large animals and zoo animals. In 1996, they decided to focus on small animals only and, with that specialization, the practice continued to grow. The original facility was 2,200 square feet and is now more than 6,000 square feet, including a large and spacious waiting area and state-of-the-art exam and treatment areas, as well as an excellent surgical suite and a boarding facility. Six veterinarians and a staff of 25 now serve the hospital, and we have a vision for even more growth. As part of our commitment to meeting pet needs, we seek to add more specialists in the future and to continue adding to our technological abilities as breakthroughs in veterinary medicine advance.
