This innovation gap between human science and veterinary medicine was the primary reason Aratana Therapeutics was founded in 2010, in the heart of the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor. Now, experts with decades of experience in human health, animal health, biotechnology and other functional areas, paired with a lifelong love for pets, have been brought together. The entire team is committed to helping raise the standard of care for pets in order to help extend and improve the lives of cats and dogs.
