History
Drs. Gayle Block and Maxine Borghesi opened Town and Country Veterinary Associates in January, 1992 after an exhaustive search of the area for the right location, settling on Vernon. From the beginning, their plan was to only grow to a three veterinarian practice so they could always be intimately involved with each case. That allowed them to form strong bonds with their clients and patients over the years.
Dr. Borghesi is no longer practicing, however, Dr. Gayle Block, the practice owner and long time Tolland County resident, has been a veterinarian for over 25 years. She sees dogs and cats as well as other small animals (bunnies, hamsters, etc.). Dr. Emily Melendez also sees patients full time and Dr. Amy Anderson is here two days a week.
