History
Animal Urgent Care was founded in July of 1996 by Dr. Karen Seibold and colleagues to provide the best emergency veterinary medical and surgical services for companion animals. The practice was relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in April 2003, where it remains today as the longest standing small animal emergency and critical care hospital in North County San Diego. As of January 1, 2018, Animal Urgent Care came under new ownership in the form of long-time associate Dr. Scott DiLorenzo. Dr. DiLorenzo is thrilled to continue the tradition of providing high-quality veterinary care set forth by Dr. Seibold and serving the pets of North County San Diego when they need it most.
