West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is a 24 hour full-service animal and pet emergency center providing veterinary wellness care, general veterinary medical care, pet emergency and critical care, and pet specialty care including cardiology, dermatology and oncology. West Hills Animal Hospital is conveniently located on Long Island in Huntington, NY. We are proud to serve the pets of both Nassau and Suffolk County. We are fully staffed around the clock, 365 days a year (including all holidays) with veterinarians and nurses to treat your pet when needed.

We take pride in keeping your pet happy and healthy! From all of our staff members at West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center, we thank you for trusting us with the care of your pet. As a member of the West Hills family, we promise to provide loving, compassionate care to every pet through our professional care and extraordinary service. Our staff is comprised of over 100 members who have all come to West Hills because of their love of animals. In addition to our staff of fourteen, highly skilled veterinarians, we proudly boast of having 20 Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT's), more than any other general practice on Long Island. However, our team would not be complete without our paraprofessional staff that includes extraordinary technician attendants, veterinary assistants, customer care ambassadors, patient care advocates, and kennel attendants. By working as a team we have been able to provide comprehensive 24 hour care, 365 days a year. Our incredibly dedicated staff has kept our practice open and fully functioning throughout blizzards, hurricanes, super storms, power outages, etc. We can confidently say that there is not an animal hospital anywhere that has made a stronger commitment to the patients whose care is entrusted to them. The culture that has been established at West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center for more than 30 years is something we are all so very proud to be part of.
