It's a big question, with a simple answer: we're veterinarians who care.
Mission
Our mission is to advocate for animals and help pets and their owners experience a lifetime of happiness and good health together. We truly enjoy establishing lasting relationships with our pet patients and their families. The better we know your pet and your pet knows us, the more comfortable your visits will bethis is one reason we strongly encourage annual or semi-annual visits. The close relationships we forge over time enhance our ability to identify and treat potential health issues in their earliest, most easily treatable stages.

History
Melrose Animal Clinic has been a part of this community since 1982, and our current owner and veterinarian, Dr. Silverman, has been running the show since 1991. So, what makes us special? We run our animal hospital differently. We put your comfort and that of your pet's first and foremost. In fact, we're a Cat Friendly Practice and utilize many Fear Free techniques, too. Every interaction here is based on compassion and respect. Couple that with comprehensive services, and the most modern diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, and you have a sense of what Melrose Animal Clinic is all about.
