Profile Claimed

We are committed to making Pet Health Care affordable to everyone. We also promote low-cost Spay and Neuter to help with the over-population of pets. The original Melbourne facility was opened in 1989 by Isabelle Dorsey. Her mission was to provide an affordable sterilization program to help decrease the number of cats and dogs that were, and still are, being euthanized at shelters due to pet overpopulation.

Mission

History

Florida Aid to Animals was founded over 25 years ago to help pet owners better afford basic, necessary health care for their pets. We are committed to making Pet Health Care affordable to everyone. We also promote low cost Spay and Neuter to help with the over-population of pets. The original Melbourne facility was opened in 1989 by Isabelle Dorsey. Her mission was to provide an affordable sterilization program to help decrease the number of cats and dogs that were, and still are, being euthanized at shelters due to pet overpopulation. The hospital is now managed by her daughter, Lisa and is staffed by 20+ employees and has grown into an affordable pet health care clinic.
