History
Dr. Scarlett has been practicing since 1995. Dr. McClanahan graduated in 2018 and leads our Fear Free and Behavioral Health Program. We have added Dr. Ricci and Dr. Chervenka to round our team in the last year so we can offer appointments more quickly. Our certified veterinary nurses have many years of experience between them.
Four Lakes Veterinary Clinic achieved the highest level of veterinary excellence in Sept 2018. The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) came to our clinic and did a thorough evaluation, reviewing our practice protocols, medical equipment, facility, and client services before awarding us accreditation.
Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited, it is completely voluntary. Nearly 60% of pet owners believe their pet's veterinary hospital is accredited, when it actually isn't. Only about 12-15% of animal hospitals have gone through the accreditation evaluation process by AAHA and we are proud to call ourselves an AAHA Accredited Clinic!
