History
Cats Limited opened its doors on January 5th, 1995 in a leasehold storefront on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. The cat only practice offered patients and their families something different: care focused just on cats, in a calm and safe environment with individualized care for every patient. Over the following years, and as the demand for uniquely high-quality cat care grew, so did Cats Limited. By 2006, Cats Limited outgrew the original facility and Dr. Lafer purchased the current building on New Britain Avenue. After extensive renovations, we moved to our new hospital in August 2007. The move to our new facility brought with it the ability to provide even better medical and surgical care and an upscale boarding facility.
