Mission
We will do our best to make sure you are brought into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, but there will be times the occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pets should they ever need it.

History
Dr. Angela Gavin Smith is an Alexander City native. She was graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1987 and then went on to Auburn University. She is a 1994 graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Alexander City and purchased the Alexander City Veterinary Clinic in 1998. She is married to Kevin Smith, a football coach at Benjamin Russell High School. They have two children and enjoy spending time with family, playing with their dogs and cats, any activity on Lake Martin, supporting Wildcat football, and coaching dance and baton.
