Veterinarian
Dr. Keala Shotwell received her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from Colorado State University in 1997 before joining The Drake Center the following year. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture (CVA) from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS).
Dr. Shotwell is happily married and the mother of a daughter. The family also has a dog, Dallas, a cat, Smidge, a horse, Annie, and a pony, Calvin.

Personal Hobbies & Interests
In her spare time, Dr. Shotwell enjoys gardening and has a special interest in dressage. She takes weekly riding lessons and even shows periodically.
