History
In summer of 1952 vacant lots at the corner of West Rd and Sylvester Rd(now East Broad Ave )were sold.
The sale contained expressed demands that any building be of block construction and no "juke joints" allowed. Dr. W.D. Young built a veterinary clinic and we suspect began service in January 1953 as The East Albany Animal Clinic.
