Veterinary Technician/Assistant – Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with animals, we’d love to meet you.

Veterinary assistants play a vital role in animal healthcare by supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians in both clinical and administrative tasks. Their responsibilities include:
•     🐶 Animal Care: Handling animals safely, feeding, bathing, and exercising them, as well as monitoring their behavior and recovery after procedures.
•     🧪 Medical Support: Assisting during exams and surgeries, administering medications, collecting lab samples, and preparing equipment and treatment areas.
•     🧼 Sanitation & Safety: Cleaning cages, kennels, and workspaces to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for both animals and staff.

Veterinary assistants are often the first point of contact for pet owners and help ensure that every visit runs smoothly. Their work requires empathy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to animal welfare.

Licensed Veterinary Technicians are essential members of the veterinary healthcare team, providing skilled nursing care and technical support to veterinarians. Their responsibilities span clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and client-facing duties, including:
•     🐕 Patient Care & Assessment: Monitor vital signs, assess patient condition, and assist in treatment planning.
•     💉 Medical Procedures: Administer medications, collect samples for diagnostic testing (e.g., blood, urine), and perform radiographic imaging.

•     🧼 Facility Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both animals and staff.
