Taylor Francher DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Taylor Francher cannot remember a childhood day that wasn’t spend alongside a family pet. While she first joined the veterinary profession because of her intense desire to better the lives of animals, her time in the field has made her realize something: what she truly wants is to help other pet owners help their animal friends! As an Associate Veterinarian with the Creature Comforts Animal Hospital team, Dr. Francher is able to do just that on a daily basis.

Favorite Part of my Job

Medically, Dr. Francher particularly enjoys exotic-animal appointments, and strives to provide these creatures the same high-quality care that is afforded to canine and feline patients. She’s also passionate about animal nutrition, and never ceases to be amazed at the way great nutrition can maintain a high quality of life and can even help with short-term or chronic illnesses.

Why I chose this profession

Dr. Francher is originally from Yuma, Arizona. It was there that she jump-started her animal-care career by becoming a Veterinary Assistant during high school. She moved to Tucson, attending the University of Arizona for her undergraduate studies, before relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina to earn her DVM degree from North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Francher graduated in May of 2016, moved to Las Vegas with her husband, and joined the Creature Comforts Animal Hospital family shortly afterward.

Personal Hobbies & Interests

Outside of work, Dr. Francher likes reading, crafting, and sewing. She’s even sewn bedding and accessory items for her guinea pigs!
