Monica DeVibiss DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Monica DeVilbiss joined Town Center Animal Hospital in October 2013. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences in 2007 from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. She then attended Ross University in 2010, completing her clinical year at Louisiana State University (LSU) to obtain her DVM in September 2013. Her special interests include internal medicine and exotic medicine.

She first became interested in veterinary medicine while in college, after shadowing her neighborhood veterinarian. She had a strong interest in science and medicine since childhood and enjoyed learning from the human doctors in her family. Dr. DeVilbiss was born in Pennsylvania but spent most of her upbringing in Mexico City, where some of her family still lives. She enjoys traveling to visit her family and spending time with her loved ones, including her two dogs; Pepper and Harley.

Pepper is a Beagle/Labrador mix who was adopted by Dr. DeVilbiss when he was 8 weeks old; he is very active, loves car rides and hiking. Harley is a Border Collie/Labrador mix who joined the family when he was 2 years old; he loves to go for walks, play fetch and do tricks.
