Practice Manager
Merced was born and raised in Palo Alto, and he now resides in Newark. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and joined Aborn Pet Hospital in May of 2012 and currently works full time. Merced has been working with animals for over 13 years and has had pets all his life. Merced is a proud pet parent of 3 toy size Chihuahuas named "Hershey", "JujuBee", and "Bitsy", and a rescued chinchilla silver shaded persian cat named "Pelussa." Merced also has a few pet fish, a rabbit whom showed up on his front porch, and miniature chickens. As you see Merced has a high passion for animals and their care. He is friendly and courteous and loves to SMILE.

Personal Hobbies & Interests
When Merced is not at the clinic, he enjoys being in the great outdoors, going shopping, reading, spending time with his family and pets. He also has a sun conure and a large aviary where he keeps exotic pet bird finches, as a hobby.
