Veterinarian
Growing up in southern Louisiana, Dr. Keith Stout always had a passion for nature and the great outdoors. Thanks to his affinity for animals and a fascination with the medical field, he quickly realized that veterinary medicine was the perfect career choice!
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Stout attended Louisiana State University to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He then moved to Georgia in 1996 and started here at Hoschton Animal Hospital as a relief veterinarian. In short order, Dr. Stout became a permanent Associate Veterinarian and has been here ever since. He has particular interests in surgical work and complicated medical cases.
In his time away from work, Dr. Stout enjoys spending time with his cat, Ash, relaxing in the outdoors, and tinkering with electronics. He once saved an entire computer by diagnosing and replacing three bad capacitors on the motherboard—not an easy task!
