Veterinarian
Dr. Montel graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He has spent the last 6 years feeding his passion for surgery. Following graduation from Veterinary school he completed a Surgical Internship at Purdue University and a surgical rotation at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, a large 24 hour Emergency Veterinary facility in Colorado. Dr. Montel has also completed a Surgical Oncology Internship at VCA West Coast Specialty And Emergency Hospital in Orange County, California and approximately 2 years as a Surgical Resident at this facility. That is 6 years of A LOT of incredible orthopedic, soft tissue and skin reconstruction surgeries. He has a true passion for surgery and loves helping patients have a chance to heal with a surgical option. He approaches his cases with an excellent bedside manner and is a wonderful listener and communicator. Dr. Montel embodies a very genuine and compassionate approach to helping his patients live a long, comfortable and healthy life.
