Veterinarian
Dr. Morgan Henninger graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She obtained her bachelors of science from the University of New Hampshire. During veterinary school Dr. Henninger was passionate about the human/animal relationship as well as working towards providing high quality veterinary care to animals in remote and rural areas both domestically and abroad.
After spending several years providing rural care across the United States to poverty stricken areas Dr. Henninger decided to settle in Michigan. In 2012 she made the jump to emergency care in metro Detroit then at Bay Area Emergency. Dr. Henninger thrives in high intensity clinical situations with a special interest in emergency surgery. Over the last couple of years she has made the transition to general practice and could not be happier.
Dr. Henninger was born and raised in New Hampshire but is so very excited to call Northern Michigan home! She can’t think of a better place to raise her young children. When not working she can be found doing any activity outdoors! Sailing competitively and cruising, camping, swimming, skiing. You name it! She is thrilled to be part of a team providing the very best care to animals in such a fantastic place.
