Veterinarian
Heather Loenser is AAHA’s senior veterinary officer. A rare veterinary extrovert, she graduated from Iowa State University in 2003 wondering how to capitalize on her drive of connecting with people. She spent 10 years as an adrenaline junky in emergency medicine. Since joining AAHA in 2015, she seeks her thrills by serving her colleagues through creating AAHA’s guidelines and emceeing AAHA’s new conference, Connexity.
