Dr. Emily Ehmann

Medical Director and Owner

For as long as she can remember, Dr. Ehmann wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Ehmann graduated from the University of Pennsylvania followed by rotating and surgical internships to hone her skills and experience to provide the utmost care for pets. Dr. Ehmann then worked as an emergency veterinarian in New York City, where she developed expertise in emergency care and managing critical patients. Her clinical interests include respiratory disease, trauma, toxicities, and pain management. She is now excited to start the next chapter of her career as the founder of Modern Vet Care.

 

Personal Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Ehmann is also passionate about foster work and has founded Queens of Queens, a rescue organization focused on bottle-raising kittens. Dr. Ehmann and her wife currently have a Pitbull named Andi, a Pomeranian named Wesley, three cats - Val, Hector, and Cuppie, and an occasional foster animal, or two. Outside of work, Dr. Ehmann enjoys cooking, biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She is a fan of all things, Marvel as well!
