Share a few sentences about your professional background and what drew you to GeniusVets. 

I come from a Business Development background in tech sales and sales support. I was drawn to GeniusVets through reading and hearing about the excellent culture and growth opportunities within the company.

What do you love about your role? If you're new to the team, what drew you to this specific role?

I love that i will be prospecting into a new industry based on my experience, I always enjoy a challenge. I was drawn to this role because it offers me the opportunity to continue my career in business development within a great company and culture.

Passions or hobbies outside of work

Playing/watching basketball, Gym, Consuming developmental content (podcasts, interviews, etc), Traveling & Hanging out with friends and family.

What's the best advice you've ever gotten?

When you focus on the past, that's your ego. 'I did [this] in the past. I won [that] in the past.' When I focus on the future, that's my pride. 'I'm going to dominate.' That's your pride talking. I try to focus on the moment. In the present. That's humility. That's being humble. That's a skill I'm trying to master.

What is one thing you've done that most people have likely never experienced?

Gone to Sri Lanka, as my parents are from there.

What's a personal or professional accomplishment that you're really proud of?

Helping my parents pay off my childhood home.

Have you had any funny animal encounters?

Plenty, with cats as most that I've encountered run away from me.
